Internet Explorer 7
Microsoft has disclosed some details of the planned release of Internet
Explorer 7, the new version of the world's most widely used browser. This
new browser will be available before its new flagship operating system, code
name Longhorn, will be released into global markets.
Apart from substantially better protection against spyware and phishing, IE 7
has one significant disadvantage: it will not be available for Windows 2000,
only for various versions of XP.
Netscape 8
Netscape has just released the newest version of its once popular browser.
Netscape 8 is available in a beta version and can be downloaded
here.
Please note that this is not yet a stable release, but a beta version. It might
crash occasionally, but you might want to give it a try. Our recommendation for
a reliable and safe browser is Firefox, probably the best browser in the market right now, apart from Opera.
