TravelObjects - Features
Following is a listing of the system’s main features. Far from being exhaustive,
these capabilities are complemented by a range of useful tasks, that are described in

Creating Web Pages
TravelObjects generates web pages directly out of database content.
The layout can be arranged individually or you can use fixed templates.

Product Specific Input Screens
Data input is a breeze with input screens that were specially customized for the
travel industry. Each service category has its own set of input screens, which give
the system maximum flexibility in accommodating a wide range of descriptions.
Regardless of how many restaurants or room types a hotel features, or how many
days the itinerary of a roundtrip lasts, you have plenty of space to describe
the products you are selling. The system provides full flexibility for each of its
product types (like hotels, roundtrips, packages, cruises etc).

Generating PDF Files
Files in Adobe’s pdf format are extremely useful, but their setup is difficult for
inexperienced users. TOPS provides a simple function to generate these files, using
the same templates as for web pages.

Built-in Search Engine
The system has a built-in search function, which makes it easy for the user to find
any document, product or comment that has been entered in the database.
The system searches for travel products, documents (like photos) or in the records
of business partners and displays the results in separate sections of the display page.
The search engine follows general rules of search engine technology, e.g. a search for
"thailand AND weather" will result into a single search result for the respective
document.

Generate Itineraries and Travel Programs
Files Creating itineraries and travel programs belong to the most time-consuming
jobs in any travel business. TOPS can help you in setting up itineraries in Word
format or as a web page. You can insert images or maps and individually add text
to the text that was generated from data records in the database.

TravelObjects is a multi-user system with its own system and user administration.
Access privileges can be assigned user by user or document by document. Security is
enforced at application server level and no unauthorized access to data is possible.
